That looks like a hard car to start with, I would have started with something real easy like a hummer h1 or an old corolla.

I tried starting with a CRX and just now was looking for DeLorean blueprints, but all the blueprints for old cars (that I have found) are a little screwy and hard to work with. You may be on to something with the Hummer H1, though...
